From the world famous Dufftown distillery, The Glenfiddich Experimental Series has been created to inspire new variants in the flavour of Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
This bottling has been created by Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman in collaberation with a local Speyside craft brewer. First a craft Indian Pale Ale was created to go into whisky casks, then the used casks have been used to Finish this first Experimental whisky.
A beautifully delicate balance of ripe green apple, William's pear and spring blossom. Aromatic hops and fresh herbs complement the characteristic glenfidich fruitiness and sweet vanilla oakiness.
Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
