M&H (Milk and Honey) is
Israel’s first whisky distillery. Founded in 2013, M&H has a commitment to the highest international standards of quality and respect for the centuries-old traditions of whisky making. The distillery was established under the guidance of the late Dr. Jim Swan who helped with the distillery floor plan, selecting the best available ingredients and designing the stills. He oversaw the first experimentations operating the stills and collaborated with Tomer Goren, M&H Distillery’s head distiller, in creating Israel’s first Single Malt Whisky.
The distillery had custom-made the Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks used in this bottling. These casks, filled with quality sherry and seasoned for one year in Spain, were then transported to the Milk & Honey distillery. Here, they matured the new-make spirit, subsequently resulting in the creation of a wonderfully complex whisky.
