With The Lakes Single Malt at its heart blended with select Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay. The One Whisky Collection is a showcase of their whiskymaker's maturation expertise. Each singular release has been finished in the finest oak casks, adding a new dimension to the flavour profile and demonstrating the influence oak and cask seasoning has on whisky's flavour-elevation.
Colheita means “harvest”, referring to the exclusive use of grapes from a single crop to create a vintage port. The singular blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay is then finished in rare Colheita casks to create this rich and warming expression of The One.
Peach cobbler, fresh apricot, and a whiff of autumnal smoke on the nose. This leads to a palate of ripe plums, vanilla custard and warming cinnamon with a rich and comforting finish. Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour, with only the natural colours derived from the oak casks in every bottle.
