Bowmore Distillery, steeped in rich history and nestled on the picturesque South Eastern shore of Loch Indall on the Isle of
Islay, stands as a testament to the artistry of Scotch whisky craftsmanship. Established in 1779 by local merchant, John P. Simson, this distillery proudly claims the title of Islay's oldest and one of Scotland's time-honoured establishments.
Over the centuries, Bowmore has steadfastly adhered to traditional whisky-making techniques, preserving the essence of its origins. The passage of time has only enhanced its allure, and to this day, Bowmore remains a beacon of handcrafted excellence. Despite evolving ownership – currently under Beam Suntory – the distillery upholds its commitment to authenticity. With a production capacity of approximately 1.7 million liters of alcohol annually, Bowmore continues to weave its magic, crafting liquid gold that captivates connoisseurs worldwide. The core range showcases the distillery's mastery, but it is the rare and coveted releases that truly set Bowmore apart.
Cosseted away in the finest, hand-selected oak casks and allowed to mature at its own sedate pace, this is one of the most remarkable, perfectly balanced single malt scotch whiskies of its kind. One of Bowmore's rarest whiskies, bottles of Bowmore 18 Year Old may be limited, but there's no end to its enjoyment.
