Tamsin, Nick, Sophie, Josie, Tilly, Jan, John, Harmony and Graham have all contributed to the creation of Shivering Mountain.
The distillery itself houses Little John, a hand-crafted copper Holstein still. Its name is derived from Robin Hood’s lieutenant, believed to be buried in Hathersage Parish Church graveyard.
The gins draw inspiration from one of the area's fantastic mountains, Mam Tor, also known as the 'shivering mountain'. The distillery is a community enterprise. By employing local experts, suppliers, and using local botanicals and ingredients wherever possible, they have created a truly authentic Peak District gin experience.
This Premium Pink Gin is the epitome of purity and craft. Instead of adding sweetener, the distillers have crafted the perfect balance of pink grapefruit and orange with the dry gin base. The result is a deliciously refreshing, lightly aromatic gin with a smooth, crisp citrus finish.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
