Over the centuries, Bowmore has steadfastly adhered to traditional whisky-making techniques, preserving the essence of its origins. The passage of time has only enhanced its allure, and to this day, Bowmore remains a beacon of handcrafted excellence. Despite evolving ownership – currently under Beam Suntory – the distillery upholds its commitment to authenticity. With a production capacity of approximately 1.7 million liters of alcohol annually, Bowmore continues to weave its magic, crafting liquid gold that captivates connoisseurs worldwide. The core range showcases the distillery's mastery, but it is the rare and coveted releases that truly set Bowmore apart.
A Matured in a combination of hand-selected American Oak ex-Bourbon Casks and European Oak Oloroso Sherry Casks. This is a mature, bright and sweet expression of Bowmore's signature style. A complex, immersive flavour with light vanilla and candied orange aromas, and a gentle wisp of smoke.

Colour - Cool, golden glow. A radiant, ethereal shade with a subtle lustre.
Nose - Sweet vanilla and toasted almonds, introduce stewed apple and baked pastry. Notes of cinnamon, sultanas and dark chocolate discreetly emerge.
Palate - A wonderfully confident and intentional medley of candied orange, toasted walnuts, blackberry jam and a salty breeze.
Finish - Fresh, woody smoke, emerging from a smouldering fire. Enduring and evocative - a parting gift to the senses.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
