Minke Irish Gin is made at Clonakilty Distillery, which was established in 2016 by the Scully family, who have farmed the coastal lands of Clonakilty for over 300 years. The family farm, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, grows heritage barley used in the whiskey-making process. The distillery is located in the town of Clonakilty,
West Cork, on the Wild Atlantic Way - a region known for its stunning landscapes and rich agricultural traditions.

For this gin, the team have taken inspiration from the Minke Whale. This majestic creatures swims wild off their Atlantic Ocean coastline. The same local coastline is home to the unique botanical that gives Minke Gin its distinct flavour profile - Rock Samphire. They also use other botanicals such as lavender, citrus fruits, cardamom and lemon verbena.
