They were the first Scottish Distillery to adopt the use of blockchain technology, allowing you to trace the whiskies journey from field to bottle, by scanning the QR code on the bottle. From the outset, Ardnamurchan has emphasised environmental sustainability. They use renewable energy sourced locally – Hydro Electric and biomass boiler, using wood from renewable forest. Committed to minimising its carbon footprint, the distillery uses recycled materials, and source barley from local farms.
