blended Scotch whisky, produced by Chivas Brothers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. The Master Blender of Chivas Brothers, Charles Stewart Howard, crafted the blend in 1909, creating a luxurious 25 year old whisky.
This iconic blend has been named after the founders of the company, brothers James and John Chivas. Chivas Brothers, an exceptionally well established brand, have earned numerous royal warrants since its establishment, with the first one granted by Queen Victoria in 1843.
This 12 year old bottling is one of the best selling blends in the world. The distillers select only the finest malt and grain Scotch whiskies for this recipe. All of the releases from Chivas Regal contain single malt from Strathisla Distillery.
Founded in 1786, Strathisla Distillery, located in Keith, is the home of the Chivas Regal. It is also the oldest working distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Strathisla acts as the core single malt used in all of Chivas Regal's blends, and is accompanied by malts from several other distilleries.
