Constantly innovating and evolving, Glenfiddich became the first distillery to open a visitor centre in 1969. In 1991, they released the first 50 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Today, Glenfiddich remains a family-owned business, operated by the fifth generation of William Grant's descendant. It continues to be one of the best selling Single Malt Scotch Whiskies in the world.
Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve delivers the smooth sophistication of Scotland with the sweet kick of American bourbon. Glenfiddich's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, oversees a 14 year maturation process for the whisky in ex-bourbon American oak casks. Following this, the whisky is finished in charred new American oak barrels, enhancing its richness and complexity as a single malt.
