The second release from
West Midlands Distillery! A wonderfully lightly peated expression, created as a “gateway” into peated whisky and something the team hopes can engage people on both sides of the peated/unpeated whisky fence.
Named 'Rowielia' after the Anglo Saxon words for Rowley Regis, the distillery's home. This release celebrates the stone, coal and smoke that made this region famous. Matured in a combination of 1st fill Heaven Hills Bourbon and Islay Quarter Casks. The signature rich, bold, thick spirit remains at the core of this release, with light smoke throughout which opens up into a fruity expression.
A limited release of 412 bottles.
As with their first release, each bottle is individually hand painted by the distillery team, as well as one side of the outer sleeve. The colours depict the cask and flavour profile, the key to which is inside the packaging. It comes presented in their signature fan box, with a map of the Black Country and Birmingham area.
Limited to 1 bottle per customer.
