Leiper’s Fork Distillery is a small batch whiskey distillery located in Williamson County,
Tennessee. Founded by Lee Kennedy and his wife, Melinda, in 2016, the distillery is named after the quaint and historic village of Leiper's Fork. Known for its charming atmosphere and artistic community. Since filling their first barrel in Spring 2016, the goal has been to resurrect the lost art of small batch whiskey production that was prevalent in the hills of middle Tennessee from its earliest founding. Tennessee proudly stands among the four primary whiskey-making regions globally, alongside Scotland, Ireland, and Kentucky.
Leiper's Fork TN Whiskey Bottled in Bond is a 5 year old whiskey, made up of 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% malted barley. Made with local non-GMO grains (corn grown on their Chief Distiller’s farm). They use toasted barley malt for deeper complexity.
This bottling has notes of milk chocolate, roasted coffee, ripe plum, dark cherry and honey on the nose. A complex palate of caramel, red berries and baking spices. Complexity increases as it rests in the glass. A whiskey that is every bit as satisfying to the nose as it is to sip.
