The Aber Falls Single Malt Welsh Whisky has been several years in the making, from the first whisky distillery in North Wales in over 100 years. This rich and full-bodied whisky is crafted meticulously with passion to achieve distinct flavour profiles. The distillery is proud to permanently add this fine liquid to their portfolio of award-winning spirits.
This amber gold whisky has an aroma of vanilla and toffee, candied citrus fruits, and fig and sultana; all balanced with a gentle hint of clove. On the palate, experience sweet sherry notes with dried fruit and spice, complemented by forest fruit flavours, creamy malt, nuts, dark chocolate and espresso. Enjoy a long and lingering dried fruit finish with a subtle sense of spice.
This Single Malt Welsh whisky is distilled, aged and bottled in Wales. It uses 100% Welsh malted barley and rock filtered water from the famous Aber Falls. Matured in a mix of bourbon, sherry and virgin casks.

Nose - Sweet fruits of the forest, vanilla and toffee. Hints of poached pears, candied citrus fruit, fig and sultana balanced with sweet vanilla and a gentle hint of cloves.

1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
