Springbank's signature Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Campbeltown Loch, combines the distinct single malts from all three distilleries in the Campbeltown region. Crafted exclusively from the five unique malts of the area, this blend showcases the rich character and diversity of Campbeltown whiskies. This is 100% Campbeltown whiskies.
Matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. Vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose - A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt introduce this dram. Along with notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie.
Palate - Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crytalised brown sugar on the palate. A subtle hint of peat smoke.
Finish - The peat smoke builds in the finish, with a leathery note developing over time.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
