In 2018, the Speyside distillery launched its first core range of GlenAllachie single malts just nine months after taking ownership. With this release, the distillery took a major step by introducing its first range of single malts after years of contributing only to premium blends. In 2024, the company rebranded, giving GlenAllachie 'a new visual identity', representing their evolution since 2018.
This single cask GlenAllachie bottling spent 12 years maturing in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead. This distinguished cask showcases the elegance of PX Sherry, revealing layers of mocha, candied forest fruits, warm spices and GlenAllachie's signature heather honey character. A refined and expressive dram.
A UK exclusive, limited release of just 367 bottles.

Nose - Honeycomb, mocha and maraschino cherries, with baking spices, vanilla buttercream and molasses tart.
Taste - Treacle, cherry and candied orange, followed by cinnamon buttercream, mocha and crème de cassis, with crystallised brown sugar and plum syrup.

1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
