The perfect introduction to the Springbank range, the 10 Year Old is matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks. A complex yet perfectly balanced from the first sip through to the sweet, salty finish.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose - A vibrant cereal note introduces our flagship Springbank dram, along with notes of gooseberries, mango, vanilla pods, grapes and honeycomb.
Palate - The fruit and cereal notes carry through to the palate in hints of oatmeal, malted barley and orange pulp. Heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon notes develop.
Finish - A characteristic sea salt note rounds off this dram.
Limited to 1 bottle per customer.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
