The distillery continues to expand its portfolio, introducing various expressions of Writers Tears and The Irishman brands. This triple-distilled Single Malt paved the way, leading the Renaissance in rediscovering Irish Single Malts. It shaped a new future, taking us on a journey of discovery unlike any other. Matured in American Oak Bourbon and European Oak Oloroso Sherry casks to give exceptional flavour and complexity. Triple distilled and crafted from a mash bill made entirely of Irish barley. Rich, honeyed maltiness and soft notes of candied fruit come from the double maturation.

1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
