Established early in 1994, Murray McDavid is a leading Independent Scotch whisky bottler. They use a variety of interesting casks during maturation to produce Inspired Scotch Whisky. Their ranges available include the Benchmark series, Mystery Malts, Cask Craft and select Grain bottlings. This Tormore bottling is from their Benchmark range, designed to offer outstanding, mature single malts, showcasing the art of maturation.
This bottling of Tormore Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in 2015, maturing for seven years in standard hogsheads. The whisky then spent an additional three years in rare Caribbean rum barrels from Uitvlugt Distillery, a now-closed Guyanese distillery known for its vibrant rum. Bottled in Autumn 2025 at 10 years old, this is a limited release of 499 bottles.
