Tina and Tom Warner founded Warners Distillery in 2012, establishing it as a certified B-corp. Located at Falls Farm in the village of Harrington, Northampton, the distillery operates out of a 200 year old barn. They craft the majority of their
gin on a 500 litre copper still named 'Curiosity', specially designed by Arnold Holstein in Germany. Warners also have a little 50 litre still called 'Satisfaction' for making small batches and for experiments.
They are the world’s leading premium farm-born gin producer and lovingly craft with nature using ingredients directly from the botanical gardens, hedgerows, and natural springs of its farm estate.
Warners Rhubarb Gin was first made using a crop of rhubarb originally grown at Buckingham Palace during the reign of Queen Victoria. This gin has become so popular that Warners have now made the gin apart of their standard range.
The offering is made using rhubarb juice, juniper, coriander seed and elderflower. Along with cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, orange peel and lemon peel. Plus a secret ingredient.
This award-winning Rhubarb Gin has been made using 100% real and natural ingredients. The team at Warners press tonnes of real rhubarb, until there is enough juice to fill a third of every bottle.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose - Fresh and tangy rhubarb explodes on the nose with a pinch of black pepper.
Palate - The palate gives off complex and mouth watering rhubarb with cardamom and sweet orange.
Finish - The rhubarb returns along with cinnamon which imparts a long, sweet finish.
