Height of Arrows Gin stems from Holyrood Distillery's DNA as a whisky maker. The whisky making process works with the simplicity of just barley, water and yeast. The distillers have applied the same mindset in creating Height of Arrows. This gin showcases juniper as its singular botanical, enhanced with two modifiers - salt and beeswax. The modifiers add layer, mouthfeel and texture.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose - A combination of a balanced presentation of clean fresh pine and resin with a light citrus zest.
Palate - A long, smooth and dry finish with effervescent spicy notes.
Finish - The finish is initially oily and mouth coating with juicy and a rich orange zest and lemon pith. Next, experience a bold emergence of both black pepper and cardamom, tempered with a smooth and herbaceous finish.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
