The Whiskymaker’s Editions is a series of one-off releases showcasing the sense of adventure of the whiskymakers. Each Edition is an exceptional diversion from The Lakes sherry-led house style - an expression of creative freedom, the product of a playground where instinct, experience and inspiration roam free.
The Lakes Infinity has a rich and intense character which inspires a profound thought. This is a complex and mysterious single malt, and it appears to be in a state of constant evolution. When one door closes another one opens. This offering from The Lakes Distillery is simultaneously confusing and delightful, the deft handling of established fundamentals to create infinite flavour combinations makes it difficult to define Infinity’s myriad flavours - where they come from and where they lead. The artist, unveils his latest work, with its interpretation open to the unique taste of each and every whisky enthusiast.
Korean-American artist Song Kang was commissioned to produce this exquisitely intricate label design, featuring interwoven staircases in pen and ink.

Tasting Rating Guide
1: Light, good for beginners - an aperitif on a summers day, i.e. Glengoyne, Auchentoshan
2: Also good for beginners but with more depth and body - a little stronger than 1, ie. Glenmorangie, Speyburn
3: A dram for everyone, a little more complex so the palate requires a little more experience, i.e. Cragganmore, Macallan
4: A stronger spirit, a big whisky with lots of character and body, excellent after dinner, i.e. Lagavulin, Laphroaig
