For over 30 years, Meikles of Scotland, a small family firm, have crafted this liqueur in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. From their home in Newtonmore, founders Yvonne and Les look out over the most majestic scenery the Scottish Highlands has to offer. They had the idea to capture this breathtaking beauty and bottle it.
They managed to find the perfect balance of sweetness and warmth. The fermentation of the honey adds an elegant complexity. It seems to mirror the landscape – beautiful and soul affirming, but with that brooding hint of wildness that’s always present in the Highlands.
